In the latest release (0.7.2), many features have been implemented. See the Project Manager for a complete list. We are still in an ALPHA development stage, so nothing is 100% complete. Combat, spells, quests, items, loot, even mounts have found their way into the code.
To play on the emulator you must first have a legal copy of a compatible Everquest II client. See this guide to obtain a Steam archive of Altar of Malace.
Asking on the forums on how to illegally get Everquest 2 is frowned upon, you will not receive an answer and you may possibly be banned, so please do not ask this question.
Locate and edit the eq2_default.ini in your EverQuest 2 directory (eg. extracted_folder\depots\201231\5035369).
Changer the cl_ls_address to match the one below to connect to EQ2Emulator.net
cl_ls_address clientls.eq2emulator.net

Everything requires a second look, so when you are playing on EQ2Emulator, we ask that you utilize the /bug command in-game and report anything you find that is not working.
