You can get a copy of the live client form the EverQuest II website. Once you have downloaded the client you need to make sure you change over to the full client from the streaming version. This is accomplished by going into the advanced tools tab aka settings tab. In the advanced settings menu choose the Select Game Version option. Beside the Full Download make sure the box is checked. This will re-download your client install. It is something like 16GB.
I prefer to call it creating a emulator client, but essentially the same thing. Locate the install directory. This is usually in C:\users\public\Sony Online Entertainment. Inside that dir there is a folder EverQuestII, and all the installed files are located there. Highlight the folder, right click, and copy. Once this is done head over to the root of your hard drive this is C:\. Once there create a folder and name it EQ2Emu clients. Highlight the folder you just created, right click, and paste. This will make a copy of the entire EverQuestII folder into the EQ2Emu clients folder, and this is the client you will use to connect to the emulator.
