Looking to run your own server? This page will host links to the files you need, tools to help you develop your server, and tutorials to make setup easy and less confusing.
Every server falls under two categories. Either Public or Private, see below for description. Every server also falls into a specific type. Example of a type would be PVP, see below for different types. Knowing the type of server you want will help you better prepare you server for the best player experience possible.
Public Servers This is a server that is hosted by you and your world connects to the EQ2Emulator loginserver. Those with accounts on EQ2Emulator will be able to access your server directly from the public loginserver. This means you can focus on your world development, and not accounts as well as hosting a loginserver alongside your world server.
